Wanna Save Some Money??

I'M BAAAACK!  Finally, I'm feeling good enough to sit in front of a computer and write some blog goodness. I've had some nastiness in my throat/chest, so Mary has been majorly taking up my slack!  Gracias, sista!

Well that's enough of that.  Lemme tell y'all... laying around on the couch/bed gives you plenty of time to think of a million things you need to do.  On my list... Christmas shopping!  I started browsing around online trying to get a handle on the various gifts I need to buy.  I'm sure y'all love some online shopping, right?  You don't have to drive around for 30 minutes to get a parking spot whilst still have to walk about 1/2 mile, and you don't have to deal with lines/whackos/crazies/etc in the stores. Even better than that, you can actually save/earn some money in the process!

If you haven't heard of or haven't started using Ebates, you should!  Its super simple and totally legit!  Mary and I have been using it for a few years!  Once you sign up, you can receive cash back, at varying percentages, for different stores.  If you're buying something online, you simply start at Ebates' website, search for the store you'd like to visit, and click the link.  Walla (voila... whatever :) ).  You continue and buy whatever you were gonna buy normally.  By clicking Ebates' link, they figure out your cash back.  You get a check every quarter.  It's really amazing! :)  Ohhh and, if you haven't signed up before, you can get a gift card (usually around $10) to Target (just an option!) or some sweet coupons! Ohhh and, sometimes they have some sweet coupon codes to put on your purchase :)

So lemme just give you a quick example because I'm not always the best at explaining myself... shocker I know. Say I'm going to buy my sister something from Bath and Body Works.  Ebates lets me know I will receive 4% cash back.  Sweet!  I decide to buy her a cute little 3 piece set for $19.50.  Ebates puts $0.78 in my account.  Say I really loved this little set and decided to buy 10 of them for gifts.  Well, $19.50x10 = $195.  $195x0.04 = $7.80.  It might not seem like a lot, but hey, every little bit adds up!

Let us know what you think!  If you've used Ebates, how much have you received in cash back?  I've received $42.93 since I've been a member :)
