Saw it. Pinned it. Did it.

HAPPY FRIDAY!! So I’m a day late on linking up with Saw it. Pinned it. Did it.

Great idea Katie and Stephanie--we will hopefully link up on future Thursdays too! Better late than never huh?

Last fall, my friend Cambre and I decided to recreate this pin that we saw on Pinterest. It seemed easy enough!

Here’s what you’ll need:
-a wooden letter
-Mod Podge
-sponge brush

-some type of red berries or red balls
-whatever ribbon you like (we used burlap)

Turns out it was hard to find berries to use. The ones we did find were way too expensive. So we went these little guys:

They worked perfect! To get the itsy-BEAD-sies to stick, we brushed one section at a time with Mod Podge. You kind of had to play around with the beads to get them to completely cover the space. Once we finished covering the entire letter, we put on a hefty coat of Mod Podge to sink in between the beads. Let it dry overnight—no worries, it dries clear! After it’s dry, you can attach a ribbon or whatever you want to use to hang it up. We used some burlap that we found at Michael's and cut it into strips to make the bow.

Drum roll please....

Love it! Perfect for fall and the holidays. For one of my first Pinterest crafts, I think it turned out great. So that's my first attempt at Saw it. Pinned it. Did it. Stay tuned for more!!
