Making It Through Monday!!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Our weekend was pretty good. Wanna know why?

1. We WON a Halloween contest on Friday night! Thanks to my stellar Pinteresting skills and Dustin's speeches (yes speeches--we had to give two speeches in order to clinch our victory!), we are now the reigning champs...until next year, of course.

Can you tell who/what we are??

2. Dustin's granddad helped (and by help, I mean he did 99.99% of it) us install our new microwave above the stove to free up some counter space. Doesn't it look great? Once the doors above the microwaved are finished, we will almost be done with our kitchen.

3. D switched out our wooden toilet seat for this fancy one! He picked out one that closes slowly haha. It's the little things, people. If a new toilet seat makes me happy, does that make me old?

So moving on to Monday! I'm ready to get through this week because the DDIT's will be reunited on Friday night!!
