This & That Thursday
I am super exicted to have a new link up today! Mary found Jena's blog and sent me over to check it out! So I'm going to participate in her first This & That Thursday hosted with Katie!
This... It has been a weird week! It's going by fast and slow at the same time! I've been pretty worthless at home after work... so hopefully I can turn that around tonight! I've got somethings I need to accomplish!
That... I'm SO EXCITED because next week I'm taking a short trip to LAS VEGAS!! The husband has a trip for work, and my dad (bless him!) gave me some frequent flier miles! So off I go!! AHHH! I haven't been since I was kid visiting my cousin in the Air Force! I can't wait to post about this trip.
This... Tomorrow evening my mom and I are going shopping for wedding gowns with my sister!! Woo hoo!! One little detail... I (the maid of honor {technically matron of honor... but maid is cuter sounding #ihaveacomplex}) made the appointment at the bridal salon. Here's hoping the bride doesn't yell! :) She's not too much of bridezilla... hope I didn't turn her into one!
That... I'm supposed to be sewing Christmas stockings for the husband, the pup, and me. I have faith they'll be SUPER cute... if I can ever get them done! I've got 19 days (oh and yeah - remember I'll be in Vegas for some of those) to finish. Hmmm... wonder if we'll have some hanging by the chimney with care???

Ahhh Vegas! How fun!! Get lots of good shopping in while you're there, girl. ;) And good luck with sewing the stockings! That's so cool that you're doing that. I'm sure they'll turn out great!

ReplyDeleteHave fun wedding gown shopping. I bet it'll be way more fun doing it for your sister... at least, it would be for me. Wedding dress shopping was way overwhelming for me.

Vegas Baby!! My husband and I went two years ago when I had to go for work. Aside from the other married couple that we could not shake (we were pretty much newly weds and wanted some alone time) we had so much fun!!
